Margaret B. Hazaleus Award
The Margaret B. Hazaleus Award honors those whose efforts at Colorado State University have “served to enhance the environment for women on campus and professionally, served as a role model for women, and/or contributed to our understanding and knowledge about women and girls in society.”
Multi-Ethnic Faculty/Staff Caucus Awards
The Multi-Ethnic Faculty/Staff Caucus Awards honor ethnically diverse academic faculty, administrative professional, or state classified employees who have made outstanding contributions within the University as well as surrounding communities. Award recipients must have enhanced the awareness and status of individuals and groups who are ethnically diverse; fostered acceptance and understanding between the majority population and persons of color; or strengthened multicultural and inclusion efforts for underrepresented people.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship
The Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship is presented each year to a Colorado State University graduate student. This award provides full financial support for one academic year. The recipient must have achieved an excellent record in formal course work and have shown accomplishment and promise in the type of scholarship, research, or artistry that is characteristic of his or her discipline. Award recipients must also have actively contributed to the enhancement of individuals from ethnically diverse populations and must have served as a role model.
