April 22: Betye Saar: Taking Care of Business – Chat with the Director

Free virtual event. Join the ACT Human Rights Film Festival for a chat with producer Erin Wright. Her recent award-winning short documentary Betye Saar: Taking Care of Business is a must-see portrait of 93-year-old artist and activist Betye Saar. The film debuted at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.

Wright is commissioning editor and producer of LACMA Productions and director of artist initiatives at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She has 30 years of experience in the art world that has culminated in producing documentaries that have screened at Sundance, SXSW, AFI Docs, and many other festivals.
