Aug 13: Jewish Identity and Antisemitism on Campus

You are invited to the second offering* of a special training opportunity, hosted in partnership by the Presidential Task Force for Jewish Inclusion and the Prevention of Antisemitism and the Office of the Vice President for Diversity:

Jewish Identity and Antisemitism on Campus | August 13, 2021 | 9:00 – 11:00am

This introductory training will provide an overview of Jewish identity, the diversity of Jewish experience, historical and contemporary manifestations of antisemitism, and how to address antisemitism on campus within the context of free speech and academic freedom.  It will delve into themes such as Jews, race, and whiteness; the intersection between racism and antisemitism; understanding the relationship between anti-Zionism and antisemitism; and how antisemitism plays out on campus today, including at CSU. Participants will come away with increased knowledge and awareness of antisemitism as well as practices for creating an inclusive campus environment for Jewish students, faculty, and staff.

This session will be limited to 30 participants. Register today at https://col.st/7A9Nw

*This is the second offering of this training. The first was held in June and additional trainings will be hosted this fall.
