March 10: Reframing our Relationship with Feedback: White Women & Racial Justice – A Workshop

Receiving tough feedback can be rough – and necessary.

We can get defensive, feel challenged, and ultimately shut down. Using frameworks from Tara Mohr, Don Miguel Ruiz, and Brené Brown, this session focuses on our personal journeys reframing our relationship with feedback, specifically regarding feedback around privilege. How do we stay open? How do we process and consider what we’ve heard? How do we implement lasting behavior change? This isn’t easy, and we’ll tackle these questions together.

By attending this workshop, participants will:

  • Explore personal experiences with receiving feedback
  • Understand the core of feelings which can emerge when receiving feedback
  • Learn tools to engage with feedback about privilege
