What is Feminist Friendship? with Dr. Cori Wong
Friday, November 11th, 4:00-6:00 PM
Eddy 125

Dr. Cori Wong will discuss Feminist Friendship as a politically significant practice that avoids perpetuating historical tensions within the women’s movement while undermining systems of oppression that continue to divide communities across their differences. For students and advisors, the course WS 370 Feminist Friendship is being offered in Spring 2017.

The aim of Feminist Forums is to build community, provide professional development opportunities, and advocate for feminist issues.  In particular, Feminist Forums provide spaces for educational talks as well as deliberate dialogues that move us towards strategies that advocate for our most pressing concerns as a Women’s Studies community. Please stop by!
