November 13: Women in Public Service Leadership

The CSU Straayer Center for Public Service Leadership will sponsor Women in Public Service Leadership.

Women in Public Service Leadership is an exciting panel discussion featuring Lt. Governor Donna Lynne, Superintendent of Rocky Mountain National Park Darla Sidles, and retired City Manager Dr. Penelope Culbreth-Graft.The panelists will discuss their experiences in public sector executive leadership. The discussion will be moderated by CSU’s Dr. Courtenay Daum, Political Science.

The CSU Straayer Center for Public Service Leadership provides public-service oriented professional development opportunities for students; facilitates applied research on policy issues and governance processes linking academics and practitioners; and provides thought leadership on public issues through university and community partners. This panel is co-sponsored by the Colorado Women Leading Government, a group that is committed to advancing the role of women and helping them succeed in the public sector. This panel is also cosponsored by the CSU Women and Gender Collaborative and the CSU Center for Women’s Studies and Gender Research.
