PDI Jan. 9th: How to Challenge Subtle Sexism in the Workplace – Feminist Fight Club Moves for Everyone!

What can you do to help make CSU the best place for women to work and learn? A lot. In fact, there’s a whole book of tips and tricks.

The everyday challenges women face at work because of their gender are sometimes hard to specifically identify and name, let alone challenge and change. Whether you call them instances of unconscious bias, subtle sexism, gendered microaggressions, or just seemingly small – but unfair – comments and jabs that negatively impact women, it’s most helpful to know how to respond and intervene on behalf of yourself and others when they occur.

This session will introduce you to some of the best fight moves from the amply evidence-based book, Feminist Fight Club: An Office Survival Manual. People of all genders and all ranks within the university are encouraged to attend!

Monday, January 9th
